Daniel 2:34–35, 44–45 — The Stone Kingdom

In Nebuchadnezzar’s dream a statue of four metals (four empires) is struck by "a stone … cut out by no human hand," which shatters it and becomes "a great mountain" filling the earth. Daniel explains: "the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed."
