Daniel 7:9–14 — The Son of Man

In Daniel's night-vision, after four beastly empires, thrones are set and the Ancient of Days takes his seat. 'One like a son of man' comes with the clouds, is presented before him, and is given dominion, glory, and a kingdom that 'shall not pass away,' so that 'all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him.'
