Isaiah 52:13 – 53:12 — The Suffering Servant
The fourth 'Servant Song.' The Servant is despised, pierced 'for our transgressions,' crushed for our iniquities; 'the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.' He is silent before his accusers, killed with the wicked and buried with the rich, yet afterward 'sees his offspring,' 'prolongs his days,' and 'makes many righteous.'
