Isaiah 7:14 — Immanuel
In a crisis, Isaiah gives King Ahaz a sign: a young woman will bear a son and call him Immanuel, and before the child is grown the two kings threatening Judah will be gone. Matthew quotes it (from the Septuagint's 'virgin') of the birth of Jesus.
