Where to Start — Choose Your Debate
This system has 41 sections. You do not need to read all of them before your next debate. Here is the exact path for each type of debate — starting point, core arguments, and the sections that will do the most damage. Follow the path for your debate type.
Path 1 — Debating a Muslim
The Muslim Debate Path — 8 Steps in Order
Step 1 — Establish common ground first: Both Islam and Christianity agree Jesus existed, performed miracles, was born of a virgin, is called the Messiah, and will return. Start there. → Quran + Hadith + Tafsir
Step 2 — The Kalimatuhu trap: The Quran calls Jesus "Allah's Word" and "a Spirit from Him" — both uncreated in Islamic theology. Ask: is Allah's Word created or uncreated? → Uncreated Word
Step 3 — The First and Last trap: Isaiah 44:6 — YHWH says "I am the first and the last — besides me there is no God." Revelation 22:13 — Jesus says the same title unqualified. Revelation 22:16 — "I, Jesus." → Daniel 7
Step 4 — Isaiah 6 + John 12:41: Isaiah says he saw YHWH (6:5). John says Isaiah was seeing Jesus's glory (12:41). One vision. One throne. One being. → OT Overview

The Atheist Debate Path — 5 Steps in Order
Step 1 — Establish X from first principles: Something caused existence. Call it X. X must be uncaused, timeless, spaceless, personal (volitional cause argument), intelligent (fine-tuning). → Does God Exist? (X→Z)
Step 2 — Use X as a filter on ancient religions: Which ancient religion describes a God that matches what X must logically be? Egyptian gods fail (have birth stories, exist inside cosmos). Sumerian gods fail (shape pre-existing material). Zoroastrianism partially (fails on dualism). Genesis alone describes an uncaused, timeless, spaceless, personal God with no origin story. → X→Z Method
Step 3 — The Bible is historically reliable: Apply the 5 historians' criteria — early dating, multiple attestation, embarrassment, coherence, enemy attestation. NT passes all five better than Caesar's assassination. → 14 Hostile Sources · Scholar Library

Path 3 — Debating a Modalist (Jesus IS the Father)
The Modalist Debate Path — 4 Steps in Order
Step 1 — The baptism scene (Matthew 3:16–17): Jesus is in the water. The Spirit descends as a dove from above. The Father speaks from heaven: "This is my beloved Son." Three simultaneous distinct locations. One person cannot be in three places doing three different things at the same moment. → Start with this — it requires no theology, just the text.
Step 2 — John 17 prayer: Jesus prays "Father, glorify me with the glory I had with you before the world existed." A person does not pray to himself. "The glory I had WITH you" requires two distinct persons. → Pre-Existence
Step 3 — John 10:30 — hen (neuter) not heis (masculine): "I and the Father are ONE" — the Greek neuter HEN means unity of essence, not identity of person. If Jesus meant same person he would say "I AM the Father" not "I and the Father are one." → Jesus' Own Words
Step 4 — The Divine Council and Psalm 82: Jesus quotes Psalm 82 using kal vahomer — from lesser to greater. The argument only works if there are two distinct persons: the Father who consecrates and the Son who is consecrated. → Divine Council
