Islam's Own Hadith — Jesus Returns as God's Final Judge, Not Muhammad
Every Muslim believes Muhammad is the final prophet and Jesus will return before the Day of Judgment. But the details of what Islam's own canonical hadith say about Jesus's return are devastating to the claim that Jesus is merely a prophet. Jesus returns as the supreme judge of all humanity. Muhammad stays in his grave. These are not Christian claims — they are from Bukhari, Muslim, and Abu Dawud.
The Three Most Devastating Hadith — From Islam's Own Canon
Bukhari 3448 — Jesus Returns as Judge, Kills the Dajjal, Breaks the Cross, Rules the Earth
"By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, son of Mary (Jesus) will shortly descend amongst you people (Muslims) as a just ruler and will break the Cross and kill the pig and abolish the Jizya (a tax taken from the non-Muslims). Money will be in abundance so that nobody will accept it, and a single prostration to Allah (in prayer) will be better than the whole world and whatever is in it." — Sahih Bukhari 3448, narrated by Abu Huraira

He will fight the people for the cause of Islam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizya. Allah will perish all religions except Islam." — Abu Dawud 4310
The Tirmidhi narration adds that when Jesus descends, the Mahdi (the Islamic messianic figure) will offer Jesus the leadership of prayer — and Jesus will say that the Mahdi should lead, showing humility. But after the Mahdi, Jesus rules.

Jesus uses the future tense because he has not yet died when he speaks in the Quran — he will die after returning to earth.

Every human being — including Muhammad — is touched by Satan at birth. Only Mary and Jesus are exempt. This is an extraordinary claim of uniqueness that Islam's own canon makes about Jesus. Muhammad is not in this category. No other prophet is in this category. Only Jesus.
In Islamic theology, being touched by Satan at birth is the origin of the natural human inclination toward sin. The exemption of Jesus means he had a completely different relationship to human nature and sin from birth — not merely a righteous man, but a categorically different kind of human being.
